Caerphilly Mountain is a wonderful place for a short stroll or a long walk. With a large free open car park situated just off the main road (A469), it is easy to get to if driving. Buses travel regularly from Cardiff and around so check the Stagecoach website for timetable details. Depending on how far you’d like to walk, there are various trails available, with some paths clearly visible from the summit. The Rhymney Valley Ridgeway footpath can be accessed from here along with footpaths that lead to the Taff Trail.
